Laura and John’s Wedding at Armathwaite Hall

“With more bridesmaids comes more fun, chaos and tears” — it’s something I’ve said many times and yesterday’s wedding of Laura and John proved the point exactly.

The tears of overwhelming happiness started mid morning, flowed through the ceremony and were still flowing during the father and daughter dance into the evening. Tears from heaven had threatened but apart from a short shower in the morning, thankfully left us with a dry day throughout.

The girls looked stunning, the guys scrubbed up very nicely indeed and everyone looked wedding perfect for what turned out to be a perfect day at one of the most prestigious wedding venues in Cumbria. The views of the water never disappoint and the historic house made for a splendid backdrop. Many congratulations to Laura and John!
